Wheel Balancing

Tyres require balancing when you can feel the tyres vibrating through the vibration of your steering wheel as you are driving.  At Engadine and Menai Tyre Pitstop we utilise the latest computerised wheel balancing technology. 

When you purchase new tyres for you vehicle at one of our Tyre Pitstops, the price of the tyres includes a new tubeless valve, fitting of the tyre and computerised wheel balancing.

If you suspect your vehicles tyres are unbalanced, we suggest you bring the vehicle into the Pitstop crew for a tyre check.  If the pitstop technician see signs of damage being caused by an unbalanced wheel, your vehicle will be placed on a vehicle hoist and the wheels checked using our computerised wheel balancing equipment, this will establish the exact position at which the imbalance is occurring on your tyre.  The imbalance is then counteracted by placing a weight at a point opposite to  the unbalanced point to provide a counter effect.  Special attention to appearance will be taken to ensure that stick on weights are placed to avoid detracting from the sleek appearance of alloy rims.
